All the mane, vein and fur details on the horses can be fabricated to be FLUSH with the rest of the inlay, or RECESSED.
FLUSH allows you to touch and feel the texture, almost as if you were feeling the animals. It is the most organic and natural feeling version. It is the best option for wall installation or if you are never planning on sanding and refinishing the design in the future.
RECESSED means that these same elements are recessed approximately 1/8" and covered with a clear, glass like resin. This option is preferred if you want to safely sand and refinish the inlay in the future.
Prices are based on the RECESSED version, 3/4" over thickness (1/2" plywood + 1/4" top wear layer), unfinished. FLUSH version is available upon request and costs approximately 10% less. Other thicknesses available upon reqest.
